Michael Reese Health Trust teamed up with THOMAS ALAN to redesign their aging website using the Drupal Content Management System.
A new online only grant application process required a wealth of new information and instructional material as well as a carefully thought out user experience that would help guide visitors to their appropriate destination.
A custom Drupal module was built to import data from a Microedge-based GIFTS grant management system. A faceted browsing interface allows visitors to filter past grants by a wide array of parameters such as the type of grant, population served, year awarded, and award amount.
The result is a user-friendly, attractive, and feature-packed, website with a new level of transparency and ease-of-use for current and future grantees, the Michael Reese staff, and the general public.
